Cassandra Faye Thomas

Ms. Cassandra Faye Thomas (Sand) was born February 3, 1964, in Sumter County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Jin Longstreak and Ms. Betty Thomas. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Ms. Cheryl Lynn Thomas, and Ms. Gwendolyn Joyce Thomas; two nieces, Mrs. Jasmine Nekishe Smith-Holmes and Ms. Crystal Tasheka Floyd.

She attended Furlow High School in Americus, Georgia. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and became a member of Saint Luke Baptist Church in Americus, Georgia. On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, she received her wings as her soul left to be with her savior in her heavenly home.

She leaves a legacy of love to her children, Ms. Yasmin Lundy (Brittney) and Mr. Jeramiah Thomas (Daja) all of Americus, Georgia. She was blessed to be the grandmother of three grandchildren, Adrienne Lundy, Khamaria Thomas, and Khanadia Thomas; three siblings, Ms. Sharon Thomas, Americus, Georgia, Mr. Major Thomas, Albany, Georgia, and Mikita Milner, Warner Robins, Georgia.

Additional Survivors include a host of beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. A truly devoted friend Ms. Tracey Ellis of Americus, Georgia.
