Darrell Ralph Meadows

Mr. Darrell Ralph Meadows, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. No services are planned at this time. Born November 21, 1948 in Donalsonville, GA, he was a son of the late William Orby Meadows and the late Sybil Burnice Barber Meadows. He loved his carpentry work in building construction, and enjoyed learning about his family history and genealogy, and reading (especially Tom Clancy). He always had a Pepsi and eating a Reese. Mr. Meadows was living at Fellowship Home at Cotton Hill in Cuthbert, where he really loved all the residents and staff who made him feel at home. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Melvin Orby Meadows and Carlton Ira Meadows. Survivors include his children: Tracy M. Holbrook (Kelly Holbrook), Darrell "Ryan" Meadows (Candice Meadows), and Kimberly "Amanda" Guider (Jeremy Guider); grandchildren: Samantha, Taylor Scott, Ian, Joseph, Madison, McKenna, Judson, and Meadow; great-grandchildren: Knox Hammond and Brooklen Roux-Jean Hammond; brother, William David "Bill" Meadows (Glinda); sister, Kathy Ann Kimbrough (Steven Pace Kimbrough); ten nieces and two nephews.
