Doris L. Moore

Doris L. Moore, age 94, passed away on Monday morning, October 3, 2022 at her home in Americus. Born July 4, 1928 in Pahokee, FL, Doris was the oldest daughter of the late Sam J. Neal and Eva M. Neal. She was a woman of many talents; however, she was first and foremost a loving wife and mother. Doris was a member of Lee Street United Methodist Church and an outdoors enthusiast, enjoying gardening, fishing, and traveling. Survivors include two daughters: Jeannene Moore Myers (Fred) of Hawaii and Debra L. Moore (David LaRochelle) of Plains; one son, Robert M. Moore, Jr. of Americus; and one granddaughter, Macy Zennouhi of Americus. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert M. Moore, Sr. No visitation or memorial services will be held.
