Faye Chapman Bass

Mrs. Faye Chapman Bass, age 85, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, November 18, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery with Dr. Bryan Myers officiating. Born November 9, 1937 in Americus, she was a daughter of the late James Calvin Chapman and the late Mamaur Giles Chapman. She was a homemaker and a member of Raleigh White Baptist Church in Albany. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Lee Bass; and by a daughter, Pamela Leigh Bass. Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Webb; grandchildren: Lauren Walker (Ashley), Marlee Phillips Branton (Justin), and Brittany Varner (Matt); great-grandchildren: Bryton Varner, Baylor Varner, and Grayson Branton; and by a brother, Charles Wayne Woolbright.
