Mr. Frank Robinson Pool, III, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. A memorial service is planned for 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in the Martha McDonald Moore Memorial Chapel at Magnolia Manor with Dr. John Walker officiating. A private interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Born July 14, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a son of the late Frank Robinson Pool, II and the late Evelyn S. Pool. He was retired as a chemist with Diamond Shamrock and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Americus. Mr. Pool enjoyed volunteering with the American Red Cross. He loved woodworking and playing golf as long as his health permitted. Most of all, he was a loving father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Stuart Pool, Jane Pool, and Bill Pool. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Priscilla Hammond Pool; one son, Jefferson C. Pool; two daughters: Wendy Lee Rea and Virginia Lynn Roberts; grandchildren: Camille Rea Wolf, Phillip Rea, Sean Rea, Nathan Roberts, Micah Roberts, Abigail Roberts, and Seth Roberts; great-grandchildren: Veronica Wolf, Tommy Wolf, Justine Wolf, Elinor Wolf, Kaia Rea, Emilia Rea, Isla Rea, Marley Roberts, and Austin Roberts; and brother Henry Pool.
