Mr. Gerald Marvin Jordan, age 81, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Born January 29, 1939 in Americus, he was a son of the late Marvin Jordan and the late Irene Jordan. Mr. Jordan was retired from the parts department at Carson Brothers Tractor Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing as long as he was able, and was a long-time member of M.B. Council Lodge No. 13, Free and Accepted Masons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Jordan. Survivors include his daughter, Pam Jordan Rushing (Allen T. Alexander); one granddaughter, Dana Rushing Cordal (Fernando); one great-grandson, Dominic Cordal; one brother, Charles Jordan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 17, from the graveside at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Bud Womack officiating. Masonic graveside rites will follow.
