James Randall Shaw

Mr. James Randall Shaw, age 66, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, August 9, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Brooks Partain officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The following gentlemen are asked to serve as pallbearers: Ryan Young, William Storey, Michael Ball, Barry Eggars, and Randall Eggars. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, between the hours of 6:00 & 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St. Born May 29, 1953 in Tifton, he was a son of the late James Garfield Shaw and the late Ella Faye Walker Shaw.  Mr. Shaw was a self employed contractor and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son, Chris Shaw; one sister, Annette Wainwright (Richard Oates); his special friend, Janice Bishop; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Shaw; and a sister, Janice Camp.
