Mrs. Janice Nadine Reeves Jackson, age 67, passed away on Friday morning, July 3, 2020 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Center. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Monday, July 6, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Thomas Morey officiating. A procession will follow for interment in the Leslie City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 5, between the hours of 6:00 & 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Melinda and Andy Oliver, 202 Phil Jones Road in Cobb. Born September 28, 1952 in Vienna, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Reeves and the late Louise Calloway Reeves Cappas. Mrs. Jackson was an educator, having worked in the Lee County School System. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons: Brandon Jackson and Chris Reeves; and by two brothers: Alfred Reeves and Denny Reeves. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Jackson of DeSoto; daughter, Melinda Oliver (Andy) of Cobb; daughter-in-law, Christy Reeves of Leesburg; grandchildren: Charlie Oliver of Cobb, Christian Reeves of Albany, Cody Reeves of Leesburg, and Chase Reeves of Leesburg; great-grandchildren: Chrystofer Reeves, Corban Reeves, and Silas Reeves, all of Albany; brother, Donald Reeves of Baxley; two sisters: Irene Potter of Leslie, and Sue Weldon of Cordele; and several nieces and nephews.
