Mr. Jerry Joseph McClendon, age 59, passed away on Thursday morning, October 4, 2018, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 14, at 7:00 PM at Eastside Baptist Church, with Rev. Sims Jones officiating.Born December 21, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL, he was a son of the late Dennis Joseph McClendon and the late Sarah Ann Bowman McClendon. He was employed by Dennis Taylor and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry McClendon; and by two sisters: Annette McClendon and Bonnie McClendon.Survivors include three brothers: Grady McClendon, Ricky McClendon, and Robert McClendon; and several nieces and nephews.To sign our online guestbook and express your condolences to the family, please visit www.hancockfuneralhomeinc.comHancock Funeral Home, 427 S.
