Betty Joyce Easterlin

Mrs. Betty Joyce Easterlin, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at her home in Americus. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Monday, October 31, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Daryl Brown officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery. Born November 22, 1929 in Perry, she was a daughter of the late William David White and the late Annie Laura Meadows White. A graduate of the University of Georgia, she was a home maker and a member of First Methodist Church in Americus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben F. Easterlin, III; and by a brother and sister: William D. White and Jerry W. Carswell. She is survived by her children: Ben F. Easterlin, IV (Tommye) and Ann E. Duren (Marvin); grandchildren: Ben F. Easterlin, V (Amanda), Dr. Bradley Easterlin (Marie), Lynde E. Pontius (John), Audrey D. Keyes (Rick), M. Wesley Duren (Diantha), and Whitney D. Smith (Tim); great-grandchildren: Benjamin Easterlin, Loulee Easterlin, Carr Easterlin, Clara Easterlin, Charles Easterlin, John Pontius, Lucy Pontius, and Ainsley E. Keyes; and one sister, Pam W. Reeves. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Methodist Church, Building Fund, 200 S. Lee St., Americus, GA 31709.
