Mrs. Junay Harbuck Neisler, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in Johnson City, Tennessee. Born on July 18, 1945 in Tazewell, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Carey Harbuck, Sr. and Mary I. Harbuck. After receiving her diploma in nursing, Mrs. Junay worked for many years as an RN up until she retired. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a Visitation at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., Monday evening, March 11, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, at 11:00AM in the Hancock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Junay is survived by her mother, Mary I. Harbuck; her daughters, Mary E. Lehman (Gregg) and Carolyn J. Dowdey (Rudy); her grandchildren, Brian A. Lehman (Karissa), Caleb S. Lehman, Seth M. Lehman, Kimberly Dowdey Renfroe (Jonathan), Brittany Dowdey Collins (Jonathan); her great-grandchildren, Kelliann Scott, Wyatt Dowdey, Piper Collins, Michael Renfroe; her nieces, Laurie Chastain, Jennifer Spear; her nephews, Carey G. Harbuck (Christina) and Stephen S. Sinor; and additional family members, Jonathan Dowdey (Lauren), Melissa Dowdey (Oscar), Steven Dowdey (Jess), as well as all of their children. Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wiley Carey Harbuck Jr.; her sister, Ora Elizabeth "Beth" Highnote; and one grandchild, Thomas Mitchell Dowdey.
