Mrs. LeNoir Wilson Arnold, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 15, from the graveside at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bud Womack officiating. The family received friends directly following the services at the cemetery. Mrs. Arnold was born December 24, 1940 in Sumter County, a daughter of the late Jack Wilson and the late Rosa Lee Patton Wilson. She was retired as a telephone operator for Southern Bell. After retirement, she owned and operated the Downtown Beauty and Figure Salon and also enjoyed being a home maker for her family. Mrs. Arnold was an accomplished pianist, and was of the Christian faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Vestal Arnold, Sr.; by two sisters: Katherine Wilson Davis and Dorothy Wilson Morris; and by her son-in-law, Sam Singletary. Survivors include her son, James Frank "Jim" Bass, Jr.; her daughter, Angela Bass Singletary; grandchildren: Taylor Wilson Bass, Justin Scott Hood, and Jacob Charles Hood; great-grandchildren: Kelsee Bass and Kenlee Bass; her brother, Jimmy Wilson; her aunt, Louise Warren; her fur baby Chipper; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
