Leslie Victoria Hudson, age 97, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Perfect Care. As was her wish, all services will be private. Born August 1, 1924 in Ranger, TX, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph Hudson and the late Annie Lou Usry Hudson Stinson. "Les", as she was known, worked for many years in the drafting and cataloging departments at Barbizon Lingerie Company in New York City, and later retired from Waring Products Company in New York, before moving to Georgia to be close to family, where she began working for the State of Georgia in the bookkeeping department at Lee County Correctional Facility, and retiring from there. She loved nature and the outdoors. For years she grew her own food and ate only home grown organic vegetables. She was an avid reader and had read and cataloged over 1000 books. She enjoyed sharing learned knowledge from books and life experience. Les loved antiques and was very charitable, giving to organizations she supported, such as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and Doctors Without Borders. She was a member of the Smithsonian Institution. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Rudolph Hudson, Jr., Cynthia Ann Hudson Scott, Joseph W.
