Marion Louise Jones Elliott, age 87, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Monday, September 18, from the graveside at Lebanon Cemetery. Rev. Wendy Peacock will officiate. Born November 27, 1935 in Beaumont, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Garland Jones and the late Beatrice Greer. During her career, she worked in administrative management for Braniff, Northwest, and Delta Airlines from which she retired. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Daniel Burton Rodgers; and her former husband H. Quan Elliott. Survivors include her husband, Vernon Ray Ware; her daughter, Leslie A.
