Michele A. Owen Michele Annette Owen, age 73, of Americus, Ga. passed away on April 1, 2022 surrounded by her family and loved ones, from Alzheimers. Even though she had loss of her memory, her heart never gave up. When anyone would walk through her door, she would always greet them with a smile and a song. Her loving heart and smiling face was and always will leave a feeling of joy and happiness for all who came into contact with her. Michele was born in Key West, Fl. on January 29, 1949, to the late Charles Caverzasi and Irene Paholke. She attended and graduated from Crisp County High School. Michele was employed at Cooper Lighting until her retirement after 37 years. Anyone who knew Michele knows that she never stepped out of the house without her makeup on and her hair fixed. She also had to have a clean home and loved watching and ordering makeup and other items from QVC. The only thing she loved more was spending time with her family. Michele was preceded in death by her youger brother Michael Caversazi. She is survived by her husband Steve Owen of Americus, and one sister Charlene Price of Savannah. Michele also has two daughters and sons-in-law: Melissa and Shannon Galbriath of Atlanta, and Tammy and Mike Groff of Tampa FL; three sons and daughters-in-law: John and Jenny Owen, Patrick and Tami Owen, and Clay and Meredith Owen, all of Americus. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Jake Owen, Zoie and Austin Tisdale, and Preslee Owen. The family of Michele Owen will have a visitation at Life Point Church, with covered dishes, on Friday April 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home on South Lee Street, with Rev.
