Mrs. Mildred Daniel Osborne, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Oaks at Oakland Plantation in Lee County. A private family committal service was held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Friday, April 24, with Rev. Marty Dillon officiating. A native of Americus, she was born May 18, 1930, daughter of the late Emmett and Minnie Daniel. Mrs. Osborne was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She retired from Georgia Southwestern College where she held positions as secretary in the Department of Nursing and at the Post Office. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Osborne, and by two brothers: George Daniel and Roy Daniel. Survivors include two daughters: Dana Rylander (Buck) and Anne Davis (Spencer); grandchildren: Kent Kobs (Kristy), Leslie Kobs, Lindsey Bryan (Michael), and Kelly Dennis (Mark); great-grandchildren: Landon Spivey, Sydnee Kobs, and Kason Kobs; and several nieces and nephews.
