Otto Varnum

Mr. Otto Varnum, age 78, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. A private graveside committal service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bud Womack officiating. Born July 14, 1941 in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Arthur Alvin Varnum and the late Daisy Lee Hardin Varnum. Mr. Varnum was of the Christian faith, and was a construction electrician, having been employed at Kings Customs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Arthur Lee Varnum, Wayne Varnum, Donald Varnum, Martha Pratt, and Betty King Crutchfield. His brother, James Varnum, passed away on Monday, April 27. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Smith Varnum; two sons: Charles Varnum (Kelly) and Kenneth Varnum; two granddaughters: Mya Varnum and Haley Varnum; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
