Pamela Leigh Bass, age 54, passed away on August 13, 2021. Born July 19, 1967 in Albany, she was a daughter of the late Carroll Lee Bass and Calvin Faye Chapman Bass. She graduated Westover High School and then went on to Albany Technical College, becoming an accountant. She loved spending time with her family and at the beach. Pam loved laughing and having a good time. She always knew how to make you feel better when you were having a bad day. She was very caring and had a big heart. She worked most of her career as an accountant at Agribusiness Technologies, until 2018 when she moved to St. Augustine, Florida to be near her family. While in St. Augustine, she took her accounting talents to The Treasury in downtown St. Augustine. She is survived by her daughter, Marlee Phillips (Justin Branton) and grandson Grayson Branton of Newberry, SC; mother Faye Bass of St. Augustine; sister Gayle Webb of St. Augustine; niece Brittany Varner (Matt) of St. Austine; niece Lauren Walker (Ashley) of Orlando; and great-nephew Bryton Varner and great-niece Baylor Varner, both of St. Augustine. She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Lee Bass. A memorial service is planned for 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 16, from the graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery.
