Randall Kenneth Burns

Mr. Randall Kenneth Burns, age 77, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 at his home in Cuthbert. Funeral services are planned for 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Wendy Peacock officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday at Hancock Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 AM. Born July 21, 1945 in Hornell, NY, he was a son of the late Kenneth Henry Burns and the late Margaret Bryan Burns. Mr. Burns was a tool and die maker, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed watching western movies, bird watching, bowling, camping and fishing. When he was younger, he was very active in the FFA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol June Stewart Burns and by his second wife, Shirley Hill Burns; by a son, Scott Burns; and by abrother, Billie Burns. Survivors include two sons: Kenneth J. Burns (Laura) and Shawn Burns (Sharon); four daughters: Randy Sue Burns, Sharmyn Smith (Carter), Brandy Brandon, and Kelly Gonzalez; two brothers: Larry Burns (Charlotte) and Steve Burns (Joyce); four sisters: Linda Clair, Arlene Brundage, Bonnie Abramowski (Rich), and Nadeen Palmer (Bob); nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
