Robert "Bob" Johnston Ledbetter

Mr. Robert "Bob" Johnston Ledbetter, age 64, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Services are planned for 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, at Calvary Episcopal Church with Father Richard Nelson officiating. Interment will be private in Calvary Episcopal Church Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday following the services in the Lawrence Parish Hall at Calvary Episcopal Church. Born December 31, 1958 in Richmond, Virginia, he was a son of the late Robert "Murph" Ledbetter and the late Shirley Dunlop Ledbetter. He was the president of Jones Automatic Sprinkler and attended Calvary Episcopal Church and St. John's Anglican Church. Bob loved nature, enjoying fishing and growing vegetables. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Steve Ledbetter and by a baby sister. Survivors include two sons: Robert Benjamin "Ben" Ledbetter and James "Gatewood" Ledbetter (Alicia); grandchild Morgan Virginia Ledbetter; ex-wife Georgia Virginia Ledbetter; nephews: Thomas Ledbetter, Tyler Ledbetter, and Steven Ledbetter; and several other loving family members.
