Sara "Sally" Reid

Mrs. Sara "Sally" Reid passed away on Saturday evening, September 24, 2022, at Magnolia Manor Assisted Living. Services are planned for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 28, at the Martha McDonald Moore Memorial Chapel at Magnolia Manor, with Rev. Dr. John Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM, preceding the services. Born June 6, 1947 in Columbus, she was a daughter of the late Charles Gibbs and the late Anita Huff Gibbs. She was of the Baptist faith, having had membership at First Baptist Church of Americus, Woolsey Baptist Church of Fayetteville, and Corinth Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was retired as office manager for Gulf Life / American General Insurance. Survivors include her husband, Thomas James "Jim" Reid; daughter, Kelley Michelle Skinner Mansfield (Scott); son, Michael Charles Skinner (Emily); grandchildren: Seth Mansfield, Sydney Roth (Barrett), Harrison Skinner, Bryson Skinner, Ella Skinner, and Lincoln Skinner; step-children: Tara Winstead (Skeeter) and Mark Reid; step-grandchildren: Maylon Winstead and Zach Winstead; brothers: Todd Gibbs (Cecelia) and Gary Gibbs (Sue); sisters: Candy Riccardi (Lou) and Susan "Gretchen" Ferguson (Charles); and tons of nieces and nephews.
