Thomas Michael Meeks

Mr. Thomas Michael Meeks passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home in Americus. He was 54. Services are planned for 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12 from the chapel of Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St., with Rev. Willie Pearman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home directly following the services. Interment will be private. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we ask that those attending the funeral services and visitation please consider the use of masks and please continue to practice social distancing. Born December 4, 1966 in Americus, he was a son of the late William Wills Meeks and the late Gloria Ann Ferrell Meeks. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a salesman for Rainey Auto Sales. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Meeks and Johnny Meeks. Michael is survived by his daughter, Laiken McCoy; brother, David R. Meeks (Dawn Meeks); sister, Mary Ann Norman (Jerry Harrison); and several nieces and nephews.
