Wade Stuart Smith

Mr. Wade Stuart Smith, age 61, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018, at his home in Ellaville.Born December 11, 1956 in Atlanta, he was a son of the late William Stuart Smith and the late Dorothy Ann Wade Smith.  He was of the Southern Baptist faith and worked in state and county highway construction. Wade was a loving simple man, living a simple and hard life.  He was a son, brother, uncle, and friend, who will never be forgotten.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dianne Anilla Smith Chappell of Douglasville.Survivors include his brothers and sister: William Donald Smith (Dawn) of Willow Spring, NC, Rome Martin Smith of Willow Spring, NC, Tara Nicole Smith of Harrisburg, AR, and Charles Ryan Eason Smith of Harrisburg, AR; nieces and nephew: Sophia Smith Sallee of Broken Arrow, OK, Crystal Smith of Broken Arrow, OK, Roxanne Smith Archie of Virginia Beach, VA, Jessica Smith of Broken Arrow, OK, Ashley Paige Smith Cheney of Enoch, UT, and William Brandon Smith of Orlando, FL; and special friends and caregivers, Stanley and Janie Wodzinski of Ellaville.A private family memorial will be held at a later date.To sign our online guestbook and express your condolences, please visit www.hancockfuneralhomeinc.comHancock Funeral Home, 427 S.
