William "Billy" Davis

Mr. William “Billy” Davis, age 82, passed away on Monday evening, March 29, 2021 at his home in Americus. Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM on Friday, April 2, at Beulah Primitive Baptist Church in Parrott, GA, with interment to follow in Beulah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Lenwood Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 1, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St. Born April 17, 1938 in Terrell County, he was a son of the late Thomas Davis and the late Wilma Lane Davis. Mr. Davis was self employed in television and audio repair, and enjoyed row cropping and driving his tractor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Turk; and by a great-grandson, Rydar Wilson. Survivors include his children: Eric Davis and Dawn Griger (Terrill); grandchildren: Brandon Canterbury (Britney), Blake Wilson, Chelsea Wilson, Tyler Griger (Nayree), Dylan Griger, and Brooke Griger; and great-grandchildren: Andrea Canterbury, Caroline Canterbury, Aliah Wilson, Destynn Wilson, Liam Wilson, Luna Griger, and Milani Griger.
