Timothy Micah Walker

Mr. Timothy Micah Walker, age 40, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, October 22, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. James Burke officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday at First United Methodist Church between the hours of 12:00 & 2:00 PM. Born May 4, 1981 in Americus, he was a son of Deke Walker and Irene Manning Walker. Micah was a 1999 honor graduate of Southland Academy, where he played basketball, and went on to receive a degree in marketing from Georgia Southern University in 2005. He was employed in sales for Wilheit Packaging, LLC. Micah was a sweet person whose smile lit up the room. He had the ability to talk to literally anyone and genuinely cared for everyone he knew. Micah enjoyed dressing nice and shopping for clothes, and he loved music and attending Widespread Panic concerts. An avid sports fan, he took his mother to Braves games every year for her birthday. Survivors include his parents: Deke and Irene Walker; brothers: Tal Walker and Kai Walker; sister, Tabatha Walker Peshel; niece and nephews: Ansleigh Peshel, Reilly Peshel, and Aidan Walker; and several cousins, including Selinn Legg (Mike) and Sherrin Mira (Jeff).
