Our Family… Serving Yours.
Family Owned. It makes a difference. When a funeral home is family owned, it means something. It means that the people you trust in your time of need are your neighbors, and they live right in the Sumter County area. In fact, you may already know the Hancock family and their associates, from church or from a community group or charity organization.
Founded in 1965 by M. Larry Hancock, Sr. and Mary Louise Tatum Hancock, we have over 50 years of experience, and are always committed to providing dignified, respectful and personalized service to the people of Americus, Sumter County, and surrounding areas.
To those families who have placed their trust in us in the past, we sincerely hope that they found us deserving of that honor.
To those families who have not had a need for our services, we hope that the information you find on these pages is helpful.
